ran/nec is a nice combo becasue you can have yoru pet and lots of animated bones keep the critters off you while you sit back and arrow them to death.

but Ranger/Elem would be a great choice also... energy storage increase is a nice with elementalist

Uh, you only get Energy Storage if you are a Elem primary.

....cant have energy storage with a secondary elementalist profession, since it's primary elementals only. I'd say go for necro

im a ranger meser and I have no problems and find this class to be alotta fun for pve. its easy you can play a trapper with mantra of concentraion or a DOT dealer ... but in terms of PvP ... i wouldnt choose R Primary ... its just not worth it.
